Artist Statement

My work is an exploration of all that it means to father a child.  Hopefully truthful to the subject at hand, I have attempted to uncover the myth, the psychology if you will the innate within each of us.  How does our relationship with our children, or our past relationships with our own parents play into the realm of the muse?  What patterns are learned, which are biological?  What effect does description have on a child?  These are but a few of the questions that I grapple with in my work.
