Artist Statement
Description of Practice

My practice attempts to create a discourse between academic classical traditions and contemporary practice. Through process-based and context-specific methodologies, my work is concerned with methods of production and representation.

Employing the use of drawing, video, sculpture and photography, my interest lies in how the viewer engages with or unravels the creative process.

My current work and research interrogates my own working processes, while working in various contexts or more socially engaged environments. Specifically, combining the traditional language of drawing with diverse and innovative research methodologies and approaches to production and representation.
