Artist Statement
I do drawings.  I also work with xerox photocopies, sound and texts, mostly poems.
The starting-point of my works are usually founded images and words.
During the process of creation, shapes and meanings changes constantly and everything turns into an organic encounter of lines and points where the viewer is free (if they have the time or the will) to recreate their own perception of the final composition they come across with.

I like to explore the boundaries between figuration / abstraction, sense / nonsense, positive / negative through different mediums and installations.
I try to keep a very tight limit between the process of creation and the final artwork. Meaning that the sources sometimes even become the final artwork.

Some texts about my work.

«Situations in the Woods » artist book (...) "was the result of a visual alteration, or a mysterious meeting (...) It became a literary encounter (...) through the use of rapide, deeply indecisive illustrative lines, began to generate a dreamlike dimension of reality where fragments of stories meet fragments of the reader's own story." Cristiano Seganfreddo, director of Fuoribiennale www.fuoribiennale.org

Some of my latest works on paper can be interpreted as (…) «imaginary landscapes consisted of points and lines, shapes that are covered and revealed by it’s own folds, squeezing / representing the domain of the imaginaire and the mental t. As well as in " the fold " of Gilles Deleuze, the world is interpreted as a body of an infinity of points in which the surface moves across time and space. » (...) Anja Isabel Schneider. Associate Director/Special Projects at Marian Goodman Gallery / Independent Curatorial Projects.
