Artist Statement

 

 I am also interested in exploring a variety of other styles and mediums, and along with my present creations you will find a sampling of past experiments.  

 

 

Artist Bio / CV

Yaron is an artist who works in a variety of media and styles to produce pop art, narrative paintings, optical drawings and portraiture. He earned an MFA from the School of the Museum Fine Arts at Tufts University, an MS Ed. from St. John’s University, and a BA in English Literature from Queens College. He has most recently been exhibited in New York by Art in Flux and Space Womb galleries, but in the past has shown at the Warwick Museum and as far away as South Korea. He spent ten years as an at-risk guidance counselor, where he worked with students to create murals all over Brooklyn. His mural efforts have been covered by various Brooklyn newspapers and TV news reports including the Brooklyn Eagle, The Home Reporter, Sing Tao Daily, Brooklyn News 12, Sinovision, and have appeared in the New York Times.
