My work is based upon close observation of the natural world.I am interested in how the organic shapes transform themselves into bodily images or cells.
The "Transparent Drawings" are all made of superimposed layers of vellum. Each drawing consists of 3 to 4 layers. I am interested in the transparent quality of the material and how the multiple layers form a picture. I combine imagery that I find interesting; observations from the natural world, geometric elements seen in the city, together with organic patterns that are more microscopic.
