I am concerned with the embodied relations of uniformity and unity, number, perceptual orders, systems of proportion, rhythm, infinity of movement and passages, direction, sequencing, syncopation, extension, symmetry, asymmetry, distortion, entities, repetition and difference, analytic dimensions, localization, proximity between point and elements, surface and spatial trajectories, defined space, colour, materialization of light, visual vibration and intensity, value, content, reflection and contemplation, presence and distance, hidden laws, cultural contexts, essence, time, structural field, topological abstraction, architectonic and organic motifs, the visible and the invisible.
Artist Bio / CV
Born in Belgium, lives and works in London. She studied at Athens School of Fine Arts and undertook research on colour at Central St Martins College of Art and the Slade School of Fine Art. She is lecturer at the Slade School of Fine Art, Camberwell College of Arts and Central Saint Martins College of art & design, the University of the Arts London. She is predominantly engaged with the properties of colour, light and space. She works across a range of media including painting, drawing, sound, video and large-scale installation, often in public and site-specific locations. She has taken part in many exhibition projects worldwide, museums and private galleries. Her works is in public and private collections in the UK and abroad.
