These works represent a number of series. The small abstract line drawings are inspired by the unconscious and nature.
The impetus for the dancers came from a beer garden in upstate New York where people of all ages danced to have fun. I loved going there to watch the wonderful energy.
The expressionist colored drawings include one of the Newtown tragedy. The final series are of long gone synagogues of Eastern Europe. I used photographs of the old wooden synagogues to develop the magery of Jewish ural life. Thank you for looking and please contact me for more information.
