Artist Statement
My sculpture and drawings share a wry and poetic language that is inherent from the hybrid and diverse materials with which they are created. This material exploration, a cornerstone to my creative process, allows me to create gently subversive pieces referencing the cross pollination of science and popular culture. My recent drawings spawn from a desire to create repetitive environments that reference organic scenarios. It is through my own experiences that I hope to share a means of expression that delicately pushes past the personal to awaken the collective senses.
