Artist Statement

Inhabitat is an invented word that describes the middle place between inhabitant (figure/subject/object) and habitat (ground/environment/space).

This middle is a place of both separation and combination. It is the product of opposites colliding to form a third possibility. This work came from the question: How can destructive actions construct an emergent form?
